Battery Regulation

In accordance with § 12 Satz 1 Nr. 1-3 BattV (Ordinance on the Return and Disposal of Used Batteries and Accumulators (BattV) of 27 March 1998 (BGBl. I S. 658)), we as sellers point out the following: Batteries and accumulators do not belong in the household garbage. As a customer you are legally obliged to return used batteries. Batteries can be returned after use to the seller or in his immediate vicinity free of charge. If batteries are sent to the seller, the package must be stamped sufficiently.

means that the batteries in question contain heavy metals and harmful substances and must not be disposed of with simple household or commercial waste. The abbreviations below the symbol mean: "Cd" (cadmium), "Li" (lithium) / "Li-Ion" (lithium ions), "Ni" (nickel), "Mh" (metal hydride), "Pb" (lead), "Zi" (zinc), "Hg" (mercury).
